We only collect what is necessary to run the service:

  • Account data: email address, display name, hashed password, and the status of your two-factor authentication and passkey settings.
  • Transaction data: bids, auto-bid limits, purchases and won-auction records, plus the contact and delivery details needed to settle a transaction.
  • Contact data: the name, email, subject, and message you choose to send us through the contact form, by phone, or by email.
  • Technical logs: IP address, browser and device information, access times, and page activity, used for security and abuse detection.

3. How we use your data

We use the data above only to:

  • Create and maintain your account and verify your identity and email address.
  • Run bidding, auto bidding, buy-it-now, auction close, and payment flows.
  • Send notifications directly tied to your transactions (outbid alerts, auction results, payment reminders).
  • Send the newsletter, if and only if you subscribed — you can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, bid rigging, account takeover, and other abuse, and keep the marketplace secure.
  • Comply with legal obligations and requests from competent authorities.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

This site currently uses only the session cookie strictly necessary to keep you signed in. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising trackers, or any other analytics or marketing cookies. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we will update this policy first and collect your choice through the cookie banner on the site.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but doing so will prevent you from staying signed in, and therefore from bidding or completing a purchase.

5. Sharing and third parties

We never sell or rent your personal data. We share it only where necessary, and only to the minimum extent needed:

  • To complete a transaction: with your counterparty, the partner loft, payment providers, and shipping or transport providers.
  • To operate the service: with hosting, email delivery, and anti-abuse providers, all of whom are bound by equivalent confidentiality obligations.
  • Where required by law, a court, or a competent authority, or to protect the rights of the site and its users.

6. Retention

Account data is kept for as long as your account exists. After account deletion we erase or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except for transaction and accounting records we are legally required to retain (such as tax documentation). Technical logs are kept only as long as security purposes require.

7. Your rights

In respect of the personal data we hold about you, you may:

  • Ask what we hold, review it, and request a copy.
  • Ask us to complete or correct inaccurate data.
  • Ask us to stop collecting, processing, or using it.
  • Ask us to delete it — account settings also include a self-service delete option.
  • Withdraw consent you previously gave, for example by unsubscribing from the newsletter.

8. Security

Passwords are stored hashed, traffic is served over HTTPS, and optional account protections such as two-factor authentication and passkeys are available. No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, so please also keep your own credentials safe and never share them.

9. Minors

This service involves monetary transactions. Anyone under 18 should use it only with the consent and supervision of a legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children, and will delete it if we find it.

10. Google Sign-In & API Services User Data Policy (Limited Use Disclosure)

Our site supports Google OAuth 2.0 / Google One Tap for seamless authentication. When you choose to sign in with Google, we only request basic profile information (including your name, email address, and profile picture) strictly for verifying your identity, creating your member account, verifying email ownership, and delivering auction bidding or order notifications.

Xiangshui Racing Pigeon Network's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We never use your Google user data for advertising, nor do we sell, rent, or transfer it to third parties or use it for AI model training. All authentication requests are processed over secure encrypted connections.

We may revise this policy as the law or the service changes. Revisions are published on this page with an updated "last updated" date. For material changes we will also notify you by email or an on-site notice.
